Bearers-
noun, person or things that carries or hold something
The bearers had stopped and the litter was being lowered.

Blunder-
Noun, A usually serious mistake typically caused by ignorance or confusion. 
They groped forward into the room and blundered on to a sofa.

Colonnade-
noun, row of columns supporting a roof
Hall of Statues and down the colonnade, passing the great beatencopper doors.
Draw-
Verb, to cause to move continuously toward or a force applied in advance
I am determined not to put my hand out farther than I can draw it back."

Dreadfully-
Adjective, extremely bad, distasteful, unpleasant, or shocking,
their own breath seemed dreadfully noisy, but there was no other noise.

Earnest-
Noun, Marked by or showing deep sincerity or seriousness.

Flutter-

Veil-

aftertaste- /noun/ a bad taste that sticks to your mouth even after drinking something.
That sushi made me had an aftertaste.

afterthought- /noun/ a thought that is added later

clog- /noun/ anything that impedes motion/ a shoe of wood
My clogs are very colorful.

discourage- /verb/ to loose confidence/enthusiasm.
I will discourage them so they don't do homework.

disease- /noun/ signs of symptoms, illness
I have a heart disease.

dishonest- /adjective/ untrustworthy
My teacher was dishonest about the exam results.

eagerly- /adjective/ wanting to do something or having a lot
I eagerly want to gain a lot of money.

forefathers- /noun/ past generations/ancestor
My forefathers were the bosses of Channel and Prada.

foresight-/noun/ ability of predicting
He had a foresight that the vice president was going to fall from the stairs.

foretell- /verb/ predict
I foretell that tomorrow is going to be a great day.

Greedily- /adjective/ having a strong desire
I am very greedily about ice cream.

Hastily- /adverb/ moving/acting with speed
I have to go hastily to my dance class, because I am late already.

informal- /adjective/ unofficial style, NOT formal
I have a party on Friday, I think I am going informal cause I dont have any formal wear.

insane- /adjective/ not normal/serious mental ill
My dog is insane, it is always so active.

insincere- /adjective/ not expressing genuine feelings
Rebeca is giving me an insincere smile.

mischief- /noun/ playful misbehavior of troublemaking.
I assure you I would do everything possible so you don't get into any mischief.

Pace- a single step
I slowly took a pace toward the pizza.

postdate- assign a date later than the actual one
I will postdate this home work for tomorrow.

postpone-to take place at a time later than the first
We will have to postpone the race because of the rain.

precede-goes in front/ahead
Take time to look at the recipes that precede the final dessert.

predict-estimate that something will happen
I predicted that today was going to be a great day. I was right.

preface- an introduction to a book/speech
My book is prefaced by a quotation of Nicholas Sparks.

prefix-a word/letter placed before a word to qualify its meaning
The prefix of Geography is GEO.

prehistoric-the old period of time before written records
My old house has something of prehistoric style.

Shaggy- thick, long and poorly groomed hair.
The dog has long shaggy hair.

Squeaky- tending to squeak
My shoe is very squeaky at the dance floor.

Squirm-twist body from side to side, as a result of nervous
I am squirming because they don't tell us who is the winner.

Swampy- nature of resembling or abounded in swamps
It rained, as a result the lake became swampy and gross.

unaware- having no knowledge of a situation
My mom was unaware of my trip to San Antonio.

uneasy-feeling anxiety/ uncomfortable
There was an uneasy silence in the room.

Velvety- smooth, soft taste
I had some wine yesterday, it was pretty velvety.
